The Hot Toys The Dark Knight Rises Batman DX Figure comes with the patented Parallel Eyeball Rolling system (PERS) and it also comes with one new accessory which is the light up Electric Gun we see in the movie. It delivers an electro magnetic pulse and is capable of disabling electronic devices.
The Hot Toys the Dark Knight Rises figure simply looks amazing. Just look at this picture. It can easily pass off as one of the movie posters and you would have no idea that the Batman in the picture is a Hot Toys figure and not the real actor Christian Bale.
I have always liked the armor of the Dark Knight in Christopher Nolan’s movies. The Batman’s armor is designed to prevent penetration by bullets. As such it is strong, plated and resistant to normal small arms fire. However, in order to provide more mobility for the Batman, which he definitely needs, not every inch of the armor is made of hard material. Instead, the armor is padded and reinforced at certain areas such as the chest, shoulders, hips, knees and elbows, to protect these vulnerable areas. Of course, this also sacrifices a bit of protection in areas not covered by these paddings.
Is this a movie poster I am looking at? No, its the Hot Toys The Dark Knight Rises Batman DX Figure. It’s absolutely amazing and a definite must get. If I had to choose only one Hot Toys Series to collect this would definitely be one of contenders for the top spot.
Notice that the Hot Toys Dark Knight Rises Batman comes with 3 interchangeable facial expressions. This is great for posing him with different weapons and vehicles and definitely adds a great deal of variety and playability to the figure.
Hot Toys also released teaser pictures of “The Bat” vehicle otherwise known as the “Bat-Wing”. It is basically a radical flying machine with great maneuverability perfect for flight in a city landscape with lots of high rise buildings and tight spaces. “The Bat” made its debut in The Dark Knight Rises movie and the good news is that Hot Toys is going to make it. It’s definitely one of the most ambitious project by Hot Toys in recent years.
The “Bat-Pod” is my personal favourite amongst all of Batman’s vehicles and it gets a lot more screen time in the third movie. I love how the wheels are able to rotate on more then one axis giving the Bat-pod the ability to negotiate tight corners and sharp turns. The Hot Toys The Dark Knight Rises Batman DX Figure will look definitely look good on it. The Bat-pod is also a must get so that the Catwoman can have a ride on it as well.
From the pictures, it seems that we will be getting one head with 3 interchangeable facial expressions. This is great!
Hot Toys is known for their high quality 12 inch figures and the remarkable likeness of the head sculpt on their figures to the actual actor or actress that they are modeling the sculpt after.
With the Hot Toys The Dark Knight Rises Batman, I think they have taken the movie accurate head sculpt of Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne to a whole new level. The likeness is simply amazing.
If you keep staring at this picture, the distinction between what is real and what is the Hot Toys Dark Knight Bruce Wayne Head sculpt becomes blur after a while. That’s how good this is.
